Josefine Kristensen is a digital artist. In the last few years she’s been developing a voice in what and how she wishes to speak. All the aesthetic knowledge she has acquired through traditional mediums (sculpture, drawing and painting) and more modern mediums (computer) are synthesising into one. “Why should I help you go to college? Women just get married and have babies - and you don’t need an education for that!” Susan Llewellyn admits to having chosen her first profession in part to satisfy her father’s requirement that she should choose “something practical.” After years of taking care of people (like a “good woman should”), Susan finally took a deep breath and followed her lifelong passion for history and writing. And she is happy to report that her father, who has come a long, long way, now actively supports her. (But she’s strong enough now that she’d do it whether he did or not.)
