ANNOUNCEMENT: Girlistic Magazine is Shifting Shape:

After careful consideration, we’ve decided to put Girlistic Magazine in its current state on hold for awhile. The Feminism & Fitness issue will be the last PDF issue for awhile. After this issue, the quarterly PDF magazine will go on hiatus. Girlistic Magazine will resume at a future date, but that date is yet to be determined.

However, many sections still will be available on the blog.

Interviews, reviews of books, music, etc, and short articles will be posted regularly on Girlistic’s blog The Feminist Pulse, and we invite anyone who’d like to write an article to submit it for posting. We will announce the quarter’s theme, and those interested in submitting work surrounding that theme can email in their pitch and write their piece for posting.

For those interested in submitting work to be posted on The Feminist Pulse:

From March – June, the theme for articles/interviews/poetry/reviews is Feminism & the TV Nation.

From June – September, the theme for articles/interviews/poetry/reviews is Feminism & the Craft Revolution.

If you’re interested in submitting work, email with your pitch. The current submission guidelines regarding authorship rights, etc still apply, and those can be found at Girlistic.com/magazine.htm.
